Refund Policy

14-day money-back guarantee. If Freyja Pro isn’t for you, request a refund within 14 days of purchase and we’ll issue one — no questions asked.
Scope
This policy applies to one-time Pro license purchases of the Freyja desktop application made through our Paddle-hosted checkout. The free tier of Freyja has no associated payment and therefore no refund question.
Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request the refund within 14 days of the original purchase date, and
- You have not made the purchase via a method already excluded by Paddle (e.g., chargeback already filed), and
- The license has not been used in a manner inconsistent with the Terms of Service (for example, attempts to circumvent activation limits).
We may consider refunds outside the 14-day window on a discretionary, case-by-case basis — for example, where a documented bug prevented you from using the App as advertised. Reach out and we’ll talk.
How to request a refund
You have two equivalent options:
- Contact Paddle directly. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for the transaction and can process the refund without requiring our approval within the 14-day window. Go to paddle.net, look up your purchase using the email address you used at checkout, and select “Request a refund”. You will need the order ID from the receipt Paddle emailed you.
- Contact us. Open an issue on the public freyja-releases repository with the subject “Refund request” and the order ID from your Paddle receipt — or send the same information to the email address on the @Falciighol GitHub profile, if you prefer privacy. We will forward the request to Paddle for processing.
You do not need to explain why you want a refund within the 14-day window. We may ask once for optional feedback to help improve the App; you are free to ignore it.
Processing time
Once approved, Paddle issues the refund to the original payment method. Funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank. Paddle will send you a confirmation email when the refund is processed.
What happens to your license after a refund
When a refund is processed, the associated Pro license is deactivated. On the next license check the App performs, Pro features lock and the App reverts to the free tier. Your local data — plans, configs, run history, GitHub token — is not touched and continues to work under the free tier’s feature limits.
Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a purchase, please contact Paddle or us first so we can issue a refund directly. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue may result in your license being permanently revoked and may delay resolution.
Statutory rights
Where applicable, the refund options above are in addition to — and do not limit — any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under your local law, including any cooling-off rights under EU/UK consumer-protection legislation.
